Who this notice covers
This Privacy Policy describes processing associated with RedirectChecker.Site and its URL Redirect Checker, DNS Lookup, Domain Checker/WHOIS lookup, reference pages, and contact form. “RedirectChecker.Site” is the service name used to identify the operator in this notice; it does not assert that the brand is a separately incorporated legal entity. Contact: [email protected]. This notice should be read with our Data Protection & GDPR notice.
Information processed
When you run a tool, the URL, hostname, or domain you enter is processed to perform the requested check. The redirect tool makes outbound HTTP requests and records the response information needed to return the result; DNS and WHOIS tools query relevant infrastructure. Do not enter credentials, secret links, authentication tokens, private URLs, or sensitive personal data. Our source code does not use an application database to save tool results, but hosting, security, and network providers may process request data and maintain operational or security logs under their own settings and policies.
Technical and device information
When your browser connects to the site, the hosting and security infrastructure (including Cloudflare, where used) may receive your IP address, request path and time, browser and device headers, referrer, and security events to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service. The checker’s outbound request is made by our server-side infrastructure: a checked destination generally sees that infrastructure’s network address and the request headers we select, rather than a direct connection from your device. This does not mean the IP and technical metadata are never processed by the site’s providers.
Contact form
If you contact us, the form asks for your name, email address, and message and sends them to Formspree for delivery and anti-abuse handling. Formspree may also process technical information such as IP address, browser, access time, referrer, and domain according to its own privacy notice. Do not include payment data, passwords, or sensitive personal information. We use the message to respond, handle a request, and protect the contact channel.
Local storage, cookies, and advertising
The site stores your light/dark theme preference in browser local storage under “rdc_theme”. We have installed the Google AdSense tag for advertising. Depending on Google account settings and your location, Google and its advertising partners may process IP address, online identifiers, browser or device information, page/request details, and your advertising choices to deliver ads, measure performance, prevent fraud, and, where enabled and permitted, personalize ads. Cookies or similar technologies may be used subject to applicable law and the choices shown to you. AdSense Privacy & messaging must be configured and published for regions where a consent or opt-out message is required; installing the tag alone does not establish consent. Review Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy and manage personalization at adssettings.google.com. You can clear the theme preference through your browser settings.
Purposes and legal grounds
We process information to provide checks you request, return results, answer contact messages, keep the site secure, prevent abuse, maintain operations, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the applicable law and context, the grounds may be performance of your requested service or steps you ask us to take, legitimate interests in security and reliable operation, consent where required, or compliance with law. We do not use tool inputs to create user accounts or make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Recipients and international processing
Information may be processed by Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security; Formspree for contact-form delivery; Google and its advertising partners through AdSense; DNS resolvers and WHOIS registries for queries; and destination websites for redirect checks. These providers may process information in countries outside your own under their policies and settings. Where applicable, international transfers must use lawful safeguards. Read the current privacy notices of Cloudflare (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy), Formspree (formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy), and Google (policies.google.com/privacy). Whether advertising-related processing is a “sale”, “sharing”, or targeted advertising under a particular privacy law depends on that law and the actual ad configuration. We do not make a blanket claim that such processing is absent; use the privacy choices shown by Google or contact us to exercise rights that apply to us.
Retention and security
RedirectChecker.Site does not set a fixed universal retention period for infrastructure logs or Formspree submissions in this notice. The applicable retention depends on provider configuration, operational needs, and legal requirements. Contact messages may be retained as needed to reply, document, and resolve the request. We use reasonable measures appropriate to a small online service, but internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure. You can ask us to delete a message we control; provider-held records may also require a request to that provider.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a regulator. US state privacy rights, including California rights, apply only where statutory coverage and thresholds are met. Canadian federal or provincial rights, EU/EEA and UK GDPR rights, Brazil’s LGPD, Japan’s APPI, India’s DPDP framework, Australia’s Privacy Act, South Africa’s POPIA, and other laws apply according to their scope and commencement. Send a request to [email protected] and identify the relevant request; we may need proportionate information to verify it. You may also contact your data-protection authority. Mandatory local rights take precedence over this summary.
Children, changes, and contact
The tools are not designed to collect children’s personal data. Do not submit a child’s information. We will update this page when our practices materially change and publish the revision here with a new date. Contact: [email protected]. Effective/last updated: 13 October 2026.
