Scope and service identity
This notice supplements the Privacy Policy and explains how to make data-protection requests. RedirectChecker.Site is the service name identifying the operator in this notice; it is not a claim that the brand is a separately incorporated legal entity. Contact for privacy requests: [email protected]. The notice addresses EU/EEA and UK data-protection rights and summarizes selected protections elsewhere; local law governs where it grants additional or different rights.
Data and purposes
Depending on the feature, processing can involve the URL, hostname, or domain you submit; HTTP, DNS, or WHOIS response data; contact-form name, email, and message; and technical request metadata handled by hosting/security or form providers, which can include IP address, timestamp, browser headers, referrer, and security events. We use this information to perform the check or respond to you, protect and maintain the service, and comply with law. Please do not submit passwords, secret tokens, confidential URLs, or sensitive personal data.
GDPR lawful bases
Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis depends on the processing: Article 6(1)(b) where processing is necessary to provide a tool or response you request; Article 6(1)(f) for proportionate security, abuse prevention, and service reliability interests after balancing rights; Article 6(1)(c) where a legal obligation requires processing; and Article 6(1)(a) consent where required. The Google AdSense tag is installed. Advertising providers may process identifiers and device/request data for ad delivery and measurement and, if enabled, personalization. Where the law requires consent for personalized ads or non-essential storage, an appropriate consent choice must be collected before that processing; the tag or this notice alone is not consent.
Processors, recipients, and transfers
Hosting and security providers such as Cloudflare may process connection metadata; Formspree processes contact-form submissions; Google and its advertising partners may process data through AdSense; DNS/WHOIS systems and queried destination sites receive the technical query needed to provide results. Provider-held data is subject to each provider’s role, settings, terms, and retention policy. Processing may occur outside the EEA, UK, or your country. Where applicable, international transfers must rely on an approved adequacy decision or another lawful safeguard, such as standard contractual clauses, with supplementary measures where required. Review the providers’ current privacy notices and contact them about records they control.
Retention and safeguards
There is no fixed retention period represented here for provider infrastructure logs or Formspree submissions because those periods depend on provider settings and applicable needs. We retain contact correspondence only as reasonably needed to reply, manage the request, and meet legal obligations. Security measures are selected to reduce unauthorized access, loss, and misuse, but no internet service can promise absolute security. We do not maintain user accounts or a site database of checker results according to the code reviewed for this notice.
EEA and UK rights
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to your local supervisory authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office is the supervisory authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and may extend it where law permits for complex requests. We may ask for proportionate verification and will not charge except where law allows for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests.
Rights in other regions
Where a regional law applies, rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, consent withdrawal, or appeal. California and other US state rights depend on statutory scope and thresholds. The site now loads Google AdSense code; Google and participating ad partners may process data for ad delivery and, depending on settings and user choices, personalization or measurement. Whether that activity is a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising depends on the applicable law and actual configuration. Where an opt-out right applies, use the available Google privacy choices or contact us about requests within our control. Canadian rights may arise under PIPEDA or provincial laws; Brazil’s LGPD, Japan’s APPI, India’s DPDP Act and phased rules, Australia’s Privacy Act where covered, South Africa’s POPIA, and other regional laws may provide additional rights according to their scope. Contact us first; you may also complain to the competent regulator. This list is informative and does not claim every law applies to every visitor.
Consent and choices
The Google AdSense tag is installed on the site. Google Privacy & messaging can display and record privacy choices when the applicable messages have been configured and published in the AdSense account. The publisher remains responsible for enabling and targeting those messages and for selecting settings that meet applicable requirements; the tag itself is not proof that consent has been obtained. Where required, consent or an opt-out must be available before the related advertising processing. You can clear the theme preference (“rdc_theme”) through browser storage settings. A privacy notice alone does not collect consent.
Requests and contact
Email privacy requests to [email protected] and include enough detail to identify the relevant tool and request. Do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary; verification should be proportionate. If your request concerns logs or a form submission held by Cloudflare or Formspree, you may need to contact that provider as well. We will route or respond to requests within our control as required by applicable law. Last updated: 13 October 2026.
